Life is funny then you wake up and fine out that you've just had a senior moment. At the beginning of this past week, I have thought my birthday was the following Monday. Well guess what, I woke up. Son informed me today January 6 a Saturday, that Sunday, January 7 was my Birthday. Well just keep in mind I have had a migraine headache the whole week. I have been in a complete brain fog or is it fried (since I am from the deep south) the whole week. So there it is in a nut shell, except that every year on my birthday, I get depressed. Well this year, I don't have time to prepare for the depression or the pity party - whoa is me. I will be 50 but I have decided to either be 49 for the second time or maybe be 5 again. I guess being 5 years old and those Arthur boys coming to visit quite often is not a good idea. So for this day forward, I will be 49 for the second time. There will be no 5 mention in my house period.
My wonderful husband took me out to supper tonight. On the way home, we could not tell who was moaning the most. You would have thought we were pushing the car instead of riding in it. One thing about this age I have found out, we are having to re-learn how to be a couple and actually like each other again. As long as we can make each other laugh, that is OK with me. Life is to hard with out the laughter in our lives.
