Vegetable Art, part 2

There is only one pretty child in the world, and every mother has it.

There is always one in the bunch that wants to be different.

A six-year-old was overheard reciting the Lord's Prayer at a church service: "And forgive us our trash passes as we forgive those who passed trash against us."

This is Toby's favorite time of the day lunch time.

Kissie, Kissie, I wish.....

This picture scares me for some reason, I have no idea why either.
Do all sheep have black heads?

This is the family photo again,
we tend to want to bunch together all the time.
I just don't have any idea why!

This is me on the M & M"s diet
To get to this shape you have to eat a 1 pound bag a day.

This is me trying to get Clay Aiken Tickets for the Atlanta, Georgia Concert.

I'm singing in the rain

Just singing in the rain.

What a glorious feelin'

I'm happy again

I'm laughing at clouds

So dark up above

The sun's in my heart

And I'm ready for love

Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place

Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face

I walk down the lane
With a happy refrain

Just singin'
Singin' in the rain

Dancin' in the rain
Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah

I'm happy again!
I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain!

Secret to Long Life
Grandpa Jones was celebrating his 100th birthday and everybody complimented him on how athletic and well-preserved he appeared. "Gentlemen, I will tell you the secret of my success," he cackled. "I have been in the open air day after day for some 75 years now."

The celebrants were impressed and asked how he managed to keep up his rigorous fitness regime.

"Well, you see my wife and I were married 75 years ago. On our wedding night, we made a solemn pledge. Whenever we had a fight, the one who was proved wrong would go outside and take a walk."

Dancing With God

When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.

The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.

One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.

It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.

The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".

"God, "u" and "i" dance."
God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.

Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.

May you abide in God, as God abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.

This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.
If God has done anything for you in your life,
please share this message with someone else.

Interceding in prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another.
And I Hope You Dance !

I don't care how poor a man is;

if he has family, he's rich.

My last thought:

The best inheritance a parent can give to his children is a few

minutes of his time each day.

As always thank you for your sweet comments to my posts,
